SCHN - Staff Specialist - Paediatric Oncology / Neuro-Oncology

About the Role
The Kids Cancer Centre at Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick seeks a temporary 40 hours per week Staff Specialist to join their team for 12 months. The position will commence on 1st July 2025.
Main Responsibilities
* To deliver clinical services and research within the Kids Cancer Centre, Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick.
* To ensure clinical services are focused on delivering excellent and safe care to children and their families.
* To contribute to service delivery, research, and teaching in the area of paediatric Neuro-Oncology.

Requirements
* Holds a medical qualification registerable in NSW, and has a current specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics and Child Health) in Paediatric Medical Oncology or equivalent.
* At least 1 year postgraduate training in paediatric Neuro-Oncology, preferably including at least 1 year clinical training in an international dedicated paediatric neuro-oncology unit.
* Recent experience in the management of children with malignant diseases, bone marrow transplant, and non-malignant haematological disorders, with the ability to independently perform senior on-call duties.
* Proven track record in research in the field of paediatric neuro-oncology.
