Our Role
Financial Services partners with various departments across CommBank to provide specialized advice, support, and services in finance, audit, treasury, property, procurement, climate strategy, and investor relations.
Key Responsibilities
* Management of applications on behalf of Group Procurement and Group Property.
* Supporting the Group Costing & Profitability Reporting teams.
* Provision of finance operations, payroll-related reconciliation, and interface controls services for various Business Units.
* Managing the delivery and operation of Group-wide Accounting Mapping Engine (FDM), ERP, EPM platforms.
* Development and migration of Group reconciliations onto Accurate and providing Level 1 support.
Goals and Objectives
* To identify strategic opportunities, build business cases, and implement governance of data and reporting tools.
* To leverage strategic data initiatives such as Aptitude sub-ledger, Oracle EPM suites, Peoplesoft ERP, and other CBA group-wide data assets.
* To reduce complexity and bespoke customizations, ensuring platform readiness for future upgrades.
* To build relationships with group finance and BU finance teams to better understand use cases for EPM stack.
* To contribute to FINREP - Simplify and rationalize excel templates and leverage Narrative Reporting for month-end flash reporting.
* To re-imagine ERP modules suites dashboard capabilities.
* To be a Finance Systems specialist lead for ERP squad under PACE model, consistent with CBA's Values and People Capabilities.
Requirements
* Deep understanding of financial control, data quality, and systems with experience developing strategies for finance, performance management, and reporting transformation.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building, including vendor and implementation partners.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills to enable constructive working relationships across the Group.
* Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and knowledge of performance drivers across financial services business units and support functions.
* Curious and humble mindset with the ability to stay abreast of technology trends and changes.
