Shirley Smith High School is located in the Gungahlin district of Canberra and opened to an inaugural cohort of year 7 students in 2024. The school will cater for up to 800 students from years 7 to 10 and up to 90 teaching and ancillary staff when at capacity. The school provides high quality contemporary indoor and outdoor learning environments. These inclusive facilities support students with a diverse range of learning and social needs. We are seeking a highly collaborative and innovative Performing Arts teacher to join our Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) team. This is a unique opportunity to build the Performing Arts Program from its inception and would suit experienced teachers or early career teachers with a passion and commitment to the Performing Arts.
