Through advocacy, training, and policy development, they work to create safer communities for women, children, and families. Their mission is to drive lasting social change through education, intervention, and collaboration. The Role As an HR Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, working across recruitment, onboarding, contracts, employee lifecycle, and HR queries. As the team undergoes transition, requiring someone who can confidently step in and keep things running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: - End-to-end recruitment & onboarding - Managing employee lifecycle processes (contracts, offboarding, internal changes) - HR Administration & Compliance – Managing approvals, forms, and documentation - Ensure compliance with employment legislation, EA's, and policies - Using Employment Hero (HRIS) Maintain HR records and approvals within the HRIS system - Advise and coach employees and leaders on HR policies and best practices - Support employee relations matters, including grievances and performance management Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you’ll bring: - Prior experience working in a similar role within a P&C team - Organisational skills and strong attention to detail (ability to connect the dots) - Resilient and proactive – thinks ahead and anticipates challenges - Excellent communication & problem-solving skills - Able to work at pace, manage priorities, and meet deadlines - Confident using HR systems (Employment Hero experience a bonus) - Ability to advise, support, and coach leaders on HR processes and employee relations matters The successful applicant will also need to be able to provide a current police and working with children check.
