Our national team is made up of nearly 100 consultants and support staff, including some of the industry's leading experts. This Role Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the role is responsible for developing, implementing and managing a comprehensive people strategy in collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team and in alignment with GCG's overarching business objectives, as we continue to grow locally and in the international market. Key Responsibilities Participate as a member of GCG's Executive Leadership Team, providing guidance and advice on best practice HR, fit-for-purpose HR initiatives, employment risk management and HR metrics. Keep up to date with and abreast of matters/issues/best practices/innovations relating to HR and interpret and provide advice on these to the Executive Leadership Team. Lead a national HR team of 3 direct reports, to deliver HR operational support across the business and manage the full employee lifecycle. Develop and implement talent acquisition and retention strategies aligned with GCG's values and business objectives. Ensure policies, governance and risk control frameworks are in place to meet business, legal and regulatory requirements. Enhance employee experience through the development of engagement programs, wellbeing initiatives and feedback mechanisms. Proactively enhance HR processes to drive improvements and innovation to support GCG's business objectives. Drive the Leadership Development Program for GCG's existing and emerging leaders. About You You are an experienced HR leader with strong business acumen and a proven history of delivering impactful business results. The successful candidate will have: Minimum 8-10+ years' demonstrated experience as a HR leader. Expertise as an HR leader working closely with business leaders in the development and execution of strategic HR plans and driving financial growth and operational outcomes. Experience in vocational and leadership training across a wide range of employees. High emotional intelligence (EI), interpersonal and communication skills with ability to nurture and build relationships with key internal stakeholders and foster cross-functional collaboration. Proven experience leading and developing a team of HR professionals and promoting an environment of collaboration, inclusiveness and teamwork. Solid understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice. Tertiary qualifications in human resources or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications in learning and development will be highly regarded. We look forward to hearing from you.
