Position
Working on key brands across mens and womens clothing and accessories, the major elements of this role entail:
1. Manage the product development process from creating the initial tech packs, through to pre-production sample approval.
2. Working cohesively with the design managers on all development requirements.
3. Creating detailed technical specifications for overseas sampling purposes.
4. Ensuring all suppliers are clear on technical details.
5. Create and manage seasonal tracking schedules for samples and ensure critical dates are met.
6. Maintain standards on fit, quality and ensure that all styling, fabrications and details have been met on pre-production.
7. Regular communication with overseas suppliers.
Candidate
Ideally all candidates will have:
8. A proven track record performing a product development role.
9. Solid understanding of garment construction, grading and manufacturing techniques.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
11. Exceptional organizational skills to plan and deliver on priorities.
12. Previous PLM experience.
13. Experience with Adobe Illustrator.
