Job Description
Joining our dedicated Reservations team, our Full-time Reservations/Groups Sales Agent will provide a luxury booking experience to our guests. Within this role you will:
1. Be responsible for assistance with managing group bookings of 10 rooms or more that do not require catering (with the exception of breakfast and group dinner booking).
2. Prepare group information sheets (group movements) and brief Hotel stakeholders prior to the arrival of the group.
3. Manage group payments, cancellations, rooming lists, terms, and conditions.
4. Maintain control of guest history and report to the Group Reservations Executive and Reservations Manager.
5. Ensure a clear line of communication with other departments for special requests or other reservation-related matters.
6. Assist the FIT Reservations team to ensure all reservations checklists are accurately actioned within the same working day.
7. Assist the FIT Reservations team to answer all calls promptly, using hotel-specific greetings.
8. Assist the FIT Reservations team to process and input FIT and corporate reservations following hotel policy.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience in hotel reservations, preferably in a luxury hospitality environment.
2. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
3. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
4. Proficiency in Hotel PMS systems, such as Opera and Opera Cloud is favourable.
