collaborate with Business Line Managers and Project Managers to track and allocate costs, compare budgets to actuals and address variances, work with teams to mitigate and/or overcome risks, and conduct post-project profitability reviews to improve future performance.Cost Management and Control - monitor and evaluate company expenses to ensure alignment with budgets.Analyse cost structures, suggest cost-saving opportunities, and recommend actions.Develop cost allocation models for accurate tracking and reporting.Cash Flow Management - develop, maintain, and manage an accurate cash flow model for the business lines, and Company.Monitor cash flow to ensure the company can meet its obligations.Develop cash flow forecasts and recommend actions to improve liquidity.Financial Reporting and Analysis – prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports and financial statements for the business, and its parent Company.Analyse financial performance, identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost control, plus provide commentary and explanations for financial data to non-financial stakeholders.Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Planning, and Strategy – develop and maintain annual budgets and periodic forecasts.Monitor budget variances and work with business line managers and General Manager to identify reasons for deviations.Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies to optimise the company's financial performance.Internal Controls and Compliance – ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.Work with external auditors to support audit activities and ensure the accuracy of financial information.Maintain and improve internal control systems to safeguard company assets.Operations & Cross-functional Collaboration and Communication - collaborate with the business lines and business functions to provide financial insights that help achieve operational goals.Assist Business Line Managers and Project Managers / project teams in understanding financial reports and the impact of their decisions on Job performance, and Business Line and Company profitability.Participate and/or lead cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.Systems and Process Improvements -
