DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Events Assistant is responsible for providing operational, administrative, and general support across the Events and Match Day Production team.
The role will be engaged across the broad range of work streams within the team including, but not limited to:
• Major Events
• Match Day Events
• Please update guest list collation and management to guestlist support
• Venue and supplier research
• Administrative support
The role also includes at-event and match day working opportunities.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
• Providing assistance to all team members across event tasks including research, idea development, guest lists, RSVP management, run sheet development, theming and event design, collateral and video production management
• Utilising our CRM system for both data management and guest communications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Assistance with communications to various stakeholders including clubs, venues, suppliers and the general public
• Providing on-site event assistance at various events at the MCG, Marvel Stadium and other venues throughout the course of the season
• Attendance at meetings, taking notes and providing minutes and actions
• Assistance with management of AFL Events stock and equipment
• Broad range of additional duties within the Events and Match Day Production team

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (in particular Excel), ability to use Adobe Suite is also beneficial but not mandatory

• An understanding and ability to learn event programs and CRM systems
• Career interest in Events, AFL and/or sporting industries

SALARY
As the successful candidate, you will receive:
$21,500 – $30,000 plus 11% Superannuation
