Position Reporting to the Safety, Health & Wellbeing Manager, this role is responsible for the implementation of the Health and Wellbeing initiatives, partnering with key stakeholders across this site. You will act as the subject matter expert to increase engagement and awareness across both corporate and site based initiatives. You will provide technical expertise in injury prevention and support management of both work-related and non-work-related injuries and will be involved in managing return to work cases. Some of the day-to-day task you will conduct are physical assessments with the employees for specific high risk activities as well as ergonomic assessments. You will be part of the broader safety health and wellbeing team working closely together on preventative programs. Requirements Tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, sports science) is preferable. Return to Work Certification Excellent people skills with ability to develop health and wellbeing programs, promote and build and implement systems for delivery. Strong knowledge of legislation within WHS, Workers Compensation and Codes of Practice. Experience managing multiple stakeholders at all levels. Advanced conceptual and problem-solving skills with proven ability to use initiative in effectively planning and prioritising. Ideally live within the Bathurst region or be willing to relocate, as this role will mainly be based on-site for 5 days a week.
