Motor Mechanic – Somerton, VIC Kogan People Solutions are working with a trusted automotive service provider located in Somerton, Victoria.Known for their high-quality workmanship and customer-focused service, this highly skilled team of mechanics cater to a diverse range of vehicles, including domestic and imported models. About the role: We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join their professional and friendly team.This role will allow you to utilise your skills and experience to provide service, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of vehicles.The role is full time, and ongoing.Responsibilities include : Provide first rate servicing and repairs to a wide range of vehicles.Identify mechanical and related issues in vehicles using latest high quality diagnostic equipment.Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes and brake inspections, as well as more complex repairs such as engine rebuilds, transmission overhauls and replacing worn or damaged parts.Adhere to safety standards, following safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment, including the proper disposal of hazardous materials and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).You should be able to demonstrate the following attributes and strengths to be considered: Demonstrated passion towards the automotive industry.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Highly relevant trade qualifications (minimum Certificate IV or agreed equivalent) At least 1 to 2 years post training professional experience, preferably more.A valid and clean driver's license.Solid references.A can-do attitude and team spirit.Great time management skills.You must have unrestricted full time Australian working rights to be considered.Interested?Attractive salary in the range $70k to $80k plus superannuation per annum.On-going training and supportive team environment.Well-regarded workshop offering all car servicing options.Applications: Please respond to the recruiters using the facilities on this site, and ensure you attach your updated CV.Kogan People Solutions are grateful for all applications, but kindly note that they will only respond to shortlisted applicants.Kogan People Solutions – recruitment excellence
