Office of the Advocate for Children & Young People (ACYP) Location - Strawberry Hills Employment type - Ongoing, Full-time - hybrid working arrangement Salary - $120,859 - $133,183 pa plus superannuation and leave loading Your role The Finance Officer is responsible for the management and oversight of the accounts payable function within the agency. The role coordinates the day-to-day processing operations of a small team ensuring the integrity of the transactions in the financial reporting system. The Senior Finance Officer also works closely with the executive team to support the delivery of consistent and high quality financial, human resources, and business services to facilitate the smooth operation of ACYP. What you'll do As part of the ACYP team you will proactively deliver ACYP's budgeting, forecasting and financial and business reporting processes, and enable ACYP to achieve budget performance and compliance with financial and business policies and statutory requirements. You will also work with skilled high performing teams who are passionate about delivering great outcomes for children and young people in NSW and having a positive impact on the community. What we're looking for High attention to detail and strong organisational ability Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic work environment Experience using financial systems (SAP preferred but not essential).
