Senior Program Coordinator, Child and Parent Centres The Smith Family is a children's education charity that helps young Australians experiencing disadvantage to create better futures for themselves through harnessing the power of education.Make a difference to young Australians through supporting their education Temporary full-time position until end June 2026 Based in Girrawheen, WA We are seeking a Senior Program Coordinator to join our organisation.Reporting to the Manager, Child and Parent Centre - Roseworth and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, you will work with a team to develop, deliver and evaluate early years programs and coordinate with external providers for the delivery parenting programs.This position is based at the Child and Parent Centre - Roseworth.About our role You will be responsible for: Working with the Early Years Team to develop, plan, and evaluate the implementation of early years programs, including playgroups on and off-site, ensuring linkage and compliance with EYLF and NQS.Building and maintaining positive relationships with Department of Health service providers located within the Centre and external service providers outside the Centre.Planning and scheduling the delivery of external programs, groups, and services based on evaluation of information and ongoing feedback from children and families using the services at the Centre.Working with the Manager to ensure that all resources are current, maintained regularly, cleaned, and that new resource requirements are identified and actioned.Building and maintaining successful relationships with Principals and school staff at host school and surrounding schools.Building and maintaining relationships with children and carers and providing referrals and support as required.Working with the team and local community to develop, implement, and evaluate the strategic plan for the Centre.Ensuring databases and administrative tasks are maintained and kept up to date. About you As well as passion for community, you will bring the following: Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating programs/projects.Demonstrated experience in working with children, including knowledge of NQS and EYLF.Demonstrated experience in working with families in a community setting.Proven experience in establishing and maintaining relevant partnerships.Demonstrated experience in administration.High level interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated capability to manage and plan own work to achieve identified goals within time constraints.
