What’s the job?
As a result of an internal promotion in the team, we have an exciting role available. As the Field Sales Representative – High School Recruitment (internally called Future Student Advisor - High School), you'll be at the forefront of a vital mission, working closely with Torrens University to achieve our strategic goal of expanding our reach and attracting top-quality applicants within New South Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, driven and energetic professional looking to make a significant impact.
The successful candidate will take ownership of a specific region within NSW. Your primary objective is to cultivate and grow relationships with high schools. Your goal is to create a bridge between students and higher education, helping them explore their options and secure their future.
Your responsibilities Include:
* Achievable Sales Targets: Meeting sales targets is your key focus, and your hard work will be rewarded through uncapped commission.
* Territory Management: As a part of the filed sales team, you will be working closely with your partner schools and Career Advisor networks facilitating campus tours, school visits and career expos with the goal of highlighting why Torrens Uni should be their first choice in continuing their educational journey.
* Building Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong connections with high school principals, career counsellors, and teaching staff, facilitating collaborative efforts to drive our mission forward.
* Event Coordination: Plan and organize events that bring students and higher education institutions together, showcasing Torrens Uni courses and pathway options.
* Tertiary Admissions Management: Oversee and guide students through the tertiary admissions process, making it as smooth and accessible as possible.

Who you are?
Driven and Self-Starter: A self-motivated individual with a proactive approach, driven to exceed in sales and achieve set targets, showcasing your determination and enthusiasm.
Sales Experience: A demonstrated track record of ideally two years or more in a sales role, ideally one involving fieldwork, showcasing your ability to connect with clients and achieve sales targets.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in the use of MS Word and MS Excel, ensuring that you can manage data and information efficiently. Competency in utilizing content management systems, particularly Salesforce, which will be a valuable tool in your day-to-day activities.
Higher Education Background: Advantageous to have a background within the higher education (HE) and/or vocational education and training (VET) sector, providing you with a solid foundation to understand and engage with potential students.
Familiar with UAC: Familiarity with the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) and a background in secondary education, which will be a significant asset in understanding the local education landscape.
Marketing Acumen: Marketing experience is highly regarded, as it complements your ability to promote educational offerings effectively.
Exceptional Communication: great oral and written communication skills, which are essential for conveying information.
Presentation Skills: demonstrated presentation skills to engage and inform high school personnel, careers advisors, students, and their families.
Relationship Building: have a passion for developing and managing professional relationships.

A full driving license and own transport is required – mileage expenses will be covered.
