To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Representative in Queensland. The purpose of this role is to drive against PepsiCo’s “Always Everywhere” strategy. This will be through increasing our availability footprint by building our customer base and ranging of our expanding portfolio. This role will be responsible for growing our customer count in new & existing AFH channels within QLD.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive channel expansion through new business acquisition in all AFH channels across Queensland.
* Identify incremental opportunities within existing and newly identified “white space” channels.
* Ability to cold call prospective customers.
* Ability to work outside normal business on a regular basis.
* Create commercial proposals for the acquisition of new customers.
* Become an integral part of driving incremental State sales and positioning the growing PepsiCo portfolio.
* Work collaboratively with National and State Sales team (both Account and Field) to drive new opportunities and incremental sales.
* The ability to connect with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all projects are executed to plan with agreed timelines.
* Present results of each new business campaign to Manager and Senior Leaders, with findings and recommendations on improving results in the future.
* Scorecard tracking to measure success.
* Work with key cross functional stakeholders for commercialisation and execution of new business opportunities
* Ability to create & execute individual new business focuses for geographical area.
* Demonstrate advanced planning and time management skills.
Qualifications
About you:
* Successful Sales Background
* Track record in signing new customers.
* Excellent communication skills, both Verbal and Written
* Self-Motivated and ability to work autonomously.
* Planning and Time Management skills
* Inquisitive mind
* Solid Computer Skills, including excel & Power Point.
* Worked with Sales CRM in previous roles preferred.
* Project Management Skills
