About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager/Estimator to join our team.
This role is responsible for managing the estimation, planning, and execution of projects from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will have strong personal skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to effectively oversee projects while maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal staff.
Experience within the commercial construction industry specific to fit-out and facade will be highly regarded.
Trade background also highly regarded.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with measuring and estimating upcoming projects and tender requests.Analyze architectural drawings, perform material take-offs, obtain supplier quotes, and interpret specifications.Prepare and submit builder quotes with consistent follow-up to secure projects.Order and maintain stock levels to ensure timely availability for current and upcoming projects.Communicate daily with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth project operations.Manage time efficiently for both yourself and staff under your direct supervision, including on-site personnel and the fabrication manager.Oversee and coordinate material deliveries, project timelines, architectural details, and quality standards.Identify and resolve daily project-related site issues in a timely and effective manner.Lead and manage projects from start to finish, including direct supervision of on-site employees, material ordering, and adherence to project schedules.Ensure all work is completed within the designated time frame for each project.Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of all products and systems offered by the company.Establish and nurture long-term relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and manufacturers to secure future business opportunities.Utilize Excel spreadsheets and formulas effectively for project estimations and reporting.Skills & Experience RequiredProven experience in project estimation, construction management, or a similar role.Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, material take-offs, and project specifications.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Strong communication and leadership abilities.Ability to problem-solve and manage on-site challenges efficiently.Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software tools.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation and planning.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work on exciting and diverse projects.Supportive and collaborative team environment.Career growth and development opportunities.Competitive salary and benefits package.If you are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for project management and estimation, we would love to hear from you!
