About the Detmold Group:

This team is thecentre for research and development, concept creation, rapid prototyping and works with our customers to provide fast, integrated product development services.
About the Opportunity:
As a result of an internal promotion, we are now seeking a Project Lead to drive project outcomes within the project management function of LaunchPad. Working as part of a growing team, these roles are responsible for building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, while working with the LaunchPad Design and Development team to deliver the required project outcomes.
More specifically, you will:
8. Plan and lead all strategic and priority product development projects
9. Drive the activities of the New Product Development (NPD) project from concept to release with a strong sense of urgency, utilising company NPD process (stage-gate)
10. Collaborate with sales, engineering, marketing, operations, technical, supply chain, finance, and all other stakeholders to identify and prioritize critical project milestones and deliverables
11. Deliver against key milestones, customer requirements, and industry and legislative compliance
12. Identify any potential risks or gaps in active projects and delivering critical problem-solving actions
13. Prepare project status reports, facilitate technical and non-technical meetings / design / specification and testing reviews; keeping management and other stakeholders informed of project status and other related project information

Additionally, as the successful applicant, you will have:
14. A tertiary qualification in Project Management or similar or sound experience in a Project Lead or Product Development role
15. Technical aptitude and a practical problem solving ability
16. High attention to detail and the ability to effectively plan project timeframes to meet deadlines
17. Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong business partnerships
