Job Title: Senior Psychologist

The Department for Education is seeking a Senior Psychologist to join our team in Para Hills, South Australia.
About the Role:
The Senior Psychologist will work with schools and preschools to provide support for students with additional needs. This includes implementing a service model that provides integrated and targeted services to meet the needs of children and young people with complex learning difficulties and disabilities.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing delegated line management, professional support, and supervision to psychologists. They will also work closely with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to develop evidence-based psychological interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to schools and preschools to implement a service model that meets the needs of students with additional needs
* Develop and implement evidence-based psychological interventions
* Work closely with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to identify and address the needs of students
* Recruit, retain, and supervise psychologists to meet professional and service delivery standards
Requirements:
* Current and full registration (general) with the Psychology Board of Australia
* Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor
* Ambition Area of practice endorsement – educational and developmental psychology and/or clinical psychology and/or counselling psychology
Working Conditions:
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a Department for Human Services working with children check and complete a Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care Facilitator Lead extended course or online fundamentals course.
Remuneration:
AHP3 $104,180 - $111,746 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%)
