About the opportunity Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for residents and staff. Properly dispose of waste, including handling hazardous materials according to health and safety protocols, and maintaining cleanliness in waste disposal areas. Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment, ensuring they are safe for use in aged care settings and compliant with infection control standards. Follow strict infection control procedures, ensuring high cleanliness standards to prevent the spread of infections and promote the well-being of residents. To thrive in this role, you will have: Previous cleaning experience, especially in healthcare or aged care environments, is often preferred but not always required. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods while cleaning various areas. Ability to manage time efficiently, ensuring that cleaning tasks are completed within scheduled timeframes without compromising quality.
