Position Overview:
The business is seeking an agile Director of Human Resources to lead the HR portfolio across their diverse operations. This pivotal role will support the Executive Director of HR and the broader Executive Leadership Team in achieving strategic objectives and enhancing their operations and organisational culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert insights and recommendations on strategic HR matters impacting company priorities.
Lead and empower the HR team, ensuring alignment with the strategic plan.
Advocate for the HR function, positioning it as a trusted partner for company leaders.
Design and implement complex people initiatives to improve stakeholder outcomes.
Identify and respond to new business opportunities, managing bids and transitions effectively.
Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
Oversee performance metrics and contract management to meet company standards.
Foster effective relationships with stakeholders to facilitate open dialogue and decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and service delivery.
Key Experience and Skills:
Proven HR management experience in complex organisational environments (hospitals, universities).
Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and delivering complex training programs.
Knowledge of Workers Compensation claims management and return-to-work strategies.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Strong understanding of compliance and risk management in HR functions.
Ability to build effective relationships across all organisational levels.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Business in HR Management or equivalent
