The Role NextSense is seeking an experienced Electrophysiological (EP) Service Lead who will primarily be responsible for maintaining and enhancing governance, quality, efficiency and innovation of the EP team and service delivery. The role will develop and manage NextSense’s EP systems and services, ensuring high-quality team operations, client care and compliance with clinical and biomedical standards. The role encompasses planning, technical guidance, and operational oversight, including the development and optimisation of processes and systems, and direct line management of the EP Services team. Key to the success of the position will be collaboration with key stakeholders and other NextSense functions to enhance service delivery and client outcomes The role reports to the Head of Cochlear Implant Services and will be based from our new centre of innovation at Macquarie University, Macquarie Park and other Sydney locations. The position is a permanent, full-time position and the successful candidate will be required to travel to other NextSense sites. About You Tertiary qualification in Biomedical engineering, audiology or related discipline Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Electrophysiology Experience with Cochlear Implants desirable Expertise in the areas of service, industry and best practice Understanding of research principles and good clinical practice (GCP) desirable Strong commercial acumen A strong working knowledge of and commitment to "best practice" and standards of quality in Electrophysiology Demonstrated commitment to staff development and supervision Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Advanced written communication skills, including high attention to detail Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to influence others to take action to move toward a shared vision or goal Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
