HumeLink West ProjectThe $1.4bn HumeLink West project is being delivered for Transgrid by two CIMIC Group companies, UGL Engineering and CPB Contractors.
The Enabling Works phase of the project will involve the establishment and operation of construction compounds and worker accommodation facilities, road works for new or existing access tracks and utility relocations.HumeLink is a new 500kV transmission project which will connect Wagga Wagga, Maragle and Bannaby in regional NSW that will significantly increase the capacity of the electricity network in Australia's eastern states.
HumeLink is one of Australia's largest energy infrastructure projects, with about 365kms of proposed new transmission lines and a range of other new and upgraded infrastructure.The HumeLink West Main Works Construction scope will include delivery of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines spanning ~140kms from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new Substation at Gugaa, the Interface Point with HumeLink East near Gundagai and a new substation at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains for future connection to Snowy 2.0.Expression of InterestAre you ready to make a difference in the energy and infrastructure sectors?
We are seeking expressions of interest for the Enabling Works phase of the project from skilled and semi-skilled workers to join the HumeLink West Project.

We are seeking expressions of interest for the following positions:Civil WorksLabourersYardspersonsLeading HandsPlant operators including but not limited to:Road Roller OperatorEWPSkid SteerScissor LiftForklift DriverTelehandlerBucket TruckHC Truck DriversExcavatorDumper/Water CartDozerThese roles will be based in the Wagga Wagga area for the duration of the project supporting the HumeLink West construction delivery team.If personnel do not reside local to the project, then they will be based in Worker Accommodation Facilities (or other suitable accommodation) in Wagga Wagga or Snowy Valleys region for the duration of the project.
