The Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) Board Finance and Performance Committee (the Committee) is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the position of External Member - Digital.
The Committee's purpose is to assist the SALHN Governing Board by providing oversight and strategic direction in the areas of:
1. financial and operational performance;
2. master planning and infrastructure development including delivery of the Southern Area Health Direction Plan; and
3. delivery of the digital strategy and cybersecurity assurance.
With a focus on digital transformation, this role will specifically assist the Committee in:
4. providing assurance and advising on the risks associated with the development and delivery of the SALHN Digital Strategy.
5. challenging the Executive and Committee in the alignment of the Digital Strategy to the broader SALHN Organisational Strategy.
6. providing advice on data analytics and business intelligence requirements.
7. keeping the Committee informed of advances in cyber security and actions that should be considered.
In addition to digital expertise, applicants should have well developed governance skills, astute financial and commercial acumen and exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills. An understanding of the health care sector would be highly regarded but is not essential.
The role requires candidates who are available to actively participate in the Committee which meets monthly on the fourth Friday of each month.
This is a remunerated position in accordance with PC016 - Remuneration for Government Appointed Part-Time Boards and Committees.
