As a publicly listed company, they are at the forefront of delivering high-quality content to millions of Australians, driving innovation in the media landscape, and shaping the future of how we consume news, entertainment, and information.Job DescriptionFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Prepare detailed financial models, forecasts, and budgets to assist with strategic decision-making.Reporting & Performance Tracking: Create and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends.Variance Analysis: Analyze budget vs. actual performance, providing explanations for variances and recommending corrective actions.Cost Management: Collaborate with departments to monitor and control costs, improving financial efficiency.Data Management: Collect, organize, and analyze financial data from various departments to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.Investment Analysis: Evaluate potential investments, including capital expenditures, mergers, and acquisitions, and provide recommendations.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing financial processes and systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with accounting, operations, and management teams to ensure alignment and accurate financial data.The Successful ApplicantEducation: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A CFA, CPA, or MBA is a plus.Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related roles.
