As part of a dedicated and dynamic management team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of their hotel, ensuring its operational success, and driving revenue growth.About the Role:As Hotel Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the hotel’s operations, focusing on both customer service excellence and financial performance. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you'll work alongside the Managing Director, Operations Manager, part-time Duty Managers, Housekeeping, Facilities, and Body Corporate Committee members.Your primary focus will be to drive top-line revenue, by building relationships with corporate clients and decision-makers, exploring both warm and cold leads. In addition, you’ll manage compliance, day-to-day hotel operations, and ensure a smooth guest experience, all while working closely with our centralised sales, revenue, finance, and HR teams to meet profit targets.You will have the responsibility for overseeing the Front Desk Team, ensuring guests' needs are met, engaging with customers, and resolving any issues that arise during their stay. In the absence of senior management, you will be entrusted with ensuring the smooth running of the business.Key Responsibilities:Guest Arrivals & Departures: Coordinate and supervise guest check-ins and check-outs.Customer Service: Provide exceptional service and handle guest complaints professionally and promptly.Reception Duties: Manage accounts, settlements, and inquiries efficiently.Team Coordination: Communicate with all departments to ensure customer satisfaction is consistently achieved.Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with the ownership group, Body Corporate Committee, and contractors.Operations Management: Oversee staff rosters, linen and consumables ordering, stock control, and building maintenance.Training & Development: Assist in training the Front Office team, Housekeeping, and Facilities Management teams.Reporting: Complete shift audits, handle banking, and report end-of-month procedures to senior management.What We're Looking For:Experience: At least 12 months of experience as an Assistant Manager/Duty Manager in a similar property.Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the confidence to handle complex issues and problem-solve.Time Management: Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.Professional Presentation: Impeccable grooming and personal presentation.Ideal Qualifications:RSA LicenceWork Rights: Unlimited working rights in Australia.Why Join Us:Be part of a dedicated, small management team.Contribute to a growing and exciting business.Gain valuable experience in hotel operations and revenue management.Competitive salary and opportunities for professional development.If you're a passionate, hardworking individual with a strong drive to succeed and lead by example, we want to hear from you!
