Position Details
RELIEF COORDINATOR
The Principal of the College invites applications from suitably experienced and enthusiastic administrators interested in applying for the Full-Time position of Relief Coordinator commencing in April 2025.
This is a Level 4, Administration and Technical Officer, The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Perth Non-Teaching Staff Enterprise Bargaining Agreement 2014 role.
The role involves working 37.5 hours per week (7.00 am-3.00 pm), 41 weeks per year.
The Relief Coordinator at Mother Teresa Catholic College is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day teacher relief processes for both the Senior and Junior Schools.
This involves organising coverage for absences by engaging external relief or scheduling internal relief.
The Relief Coordinator is expected to be highly organised and proactive, with a proven ability to schedule and problem solve.
Selection Criteria
* Experience in a similar role.
* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated time management and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Intermediate level of computer skills and knowledge, including experience navigating timetabling software (Edval) and leave management systems, as well as the ability to use Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Teams.
* High level of enthusiasm and motivation.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Ability to use initiative and problem-solve.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to work within strict privacy and confidentiality guidelines.
* Willingness to become an active member of the College community.
Qualifications Required
* Relevant certification in Administration or equivalent experience in administration or scheduling support.
* Experience within Catholic Education Western Australia and/or education sector.
* CEWA Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School or willingness to work towards.
