The Opportunity
The Warehouse Administrator supports the Stores team with administrative, transactional, and general support in delivery of Projects and day to day operations
What’s involved
Develop and maintain accurate systems and registers in line with project requirements.
Provide level of administration support that fosters an environment of efficiency, accuracy, and order of priority.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, plans, and reports in line with Austal quality standards and project requirements
Operations with general administration duties
Assist the Warehouse Lead, ensuing operational requirements are completed and outcomes achieved.
Complete and follow-up essential information and documentation relating to Stores Operational requirements
Undertake minutes as required and maintain accurate records on Stores initiatives.
Develop and manage the Stores SharePoint site.
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with line manager and employees within Supply Chain and the wider business
Provides quality service by enforcing quality customer service standards
Provides support to Warehouse Lead and Warehouse Supervisors
Works collaboratively with management to ensure timely and effective assistance and outcomes.
Contributes to the continuous improvement of the Stores department to gain operational efficiencies and improve service delivery.
Communication – Writes and speaks effectively, demonstrates openness and honesty, listens well during meetings and feedback sessions, asks others for feedback, uses consideration and tact when offering opinions
Quality Orientation – Maintain high standards despite pressing deadline, corrects own errors, regularly produces accurate, thorough, and professional work
You’ll need
Essential
Minimum Certificate 2 in Business Administration and/or relevant experience working in an administrative/ project support role
Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Minimum Two years’ Experience
Desirable
Experience within Stores and Supply Chain Industry/Department
Intermediate to advanced experience with Pronto
