We are committed to providing equal opportunity for everyone and welcoming people of all backgrounds, identities, experiences, abilities, and life stages.About The RoleThis Account Manager role in Fyshwick is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to develop and grow relationships with ACT customers in a structured and data-driven manner.This role is ideal for a high-performing account manager & business development professional looking to make an impact in a reputable building materials company!Account Growth & Development – Identify and capitalize on value-creation opportunities across the total value chain.Customer Relationship Management – Build and maintain deep, professional relationships with large reseller customers and commercial project stakeholders in the Gyprock, Bradford & Himmel portfolio.Data-Driven Sales Strategy – Utilize data and analysis to inform sales strategies and optimize performance.Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams to ensure business objectives are met.Flexibility & Customer Engagement – Local travel required, including trade shows and customer events (some outside working hours).In This Role You WillDevelop and implement key account plans that result in continuous share growth for CSR and align these with desired customer growth, theirs and CSR's.Leverage CRM Project Tracking to identify appropriate Commercial segment opportunities and negotiate with the internal Commercial team to determine which ones to assign to resellers vs service direct.Ensure effective handover of specified projects to resellers and ensure conversion to sale at the right ratio.Investigate and report back on CSR service and quality levels based on feedback, oversee and close out resolutions.Provide regular feedback and share intel across the business on competitor activity, products, and pricing strategies to sustain/ position our competitive advantage.Ensure customer account plans & call cycles are implemented & actioned.Ensure appropriate debtor management & performance.Manage relationships and expectations with a broad client base.Resolve issues & complaints with clients.What You Bring To The RolePrevious experience within business development / commercial planning experience.Experience of the building industry or construction materials is desirable.Proficient with CRM software & Office applications (intermediate excel).Strong ability to influence at various levels & negotiate commercial outcomes that secures demand growth.High energy with a will to succeed.Familiarity with sales performance metrics.Excellent verbal communication skills with a focus on the customer.An ability to analyse and structure data to tell compelling commercial stories.An ability to author and deliver professional presentations to key stakeholders.What we offerWorking for a National leading brand & market leader.Rewarding career with on-the-job development opportunities within and across our brands.Solid career stability with a strong focus on professional development.Competitive salary + bonus + Super + company vehicle.Being part of a dynamic & highly technical team.We Strive To Support Your Professional And Personal Growth.
