Belmont Christian College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Christian educator to join our leadership team as an Instructional Coach within the Primary School (Pre-K to Year 6).
Situated in the Newcastle region, our College is a co-educational Christian school committed to providing a Christ-centred education, fostering student growth, and improving academic outcomes.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator enthusiastic about developing best practice teaching approaches and making a significant impact on student results. The successful applicant will be ready to commence in Term 1, 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and group coaching to Pre-K-6 teachers on best practice teaching approaches.
Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement data-driven practices that improve student literacy and numeracy outcomes.
Evaluate teaching strategies and provide feedback to support teachers’ professional growth.
Develop and utilise coaching resources that align with the College’s strategic priorities.
Support staff in creating a Christ-centred learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ, active involvement in a local church, and a commitment to the vision of Christian education.
Current NESA Teacher Registration and a Working with Children Check.
Proven experience in instructional coaching, data-driven practices, and improving literacy and numeracy outcomes.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with a passion for supporting staff development and fostering student growth.
