The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, distribution oversight and continuous improvement of the AMO technical training program.Responsible for supporting the Maintenance Manager Part 145, and Safety and Quality Manager to provide frontline engineering staff with adequate technical AMO training to support the conduct of maintenance activities. This will involve the development, distribution, and continuous improvement of AMO technical training material and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Development and control of bespoke training Syllabi for each AMO technical training course, registered in the training systemDevelop in consultation with AMO Management and frontline staff training material in support of;General AMO Familiarization (Processes & Documentations)AMO Cat A Authorization Type Task TrainingAMO B Level Exclusion RemovalAMO Technical Skills (E.g. Troubleshooting, Software update, Hoist Hook Removal and Install)Apprentice training programsHuman Factors & Human Performance LimitationOversight of the delivery of AMO technical training within the AMO workforce in collaboration with the AMO Technical supervisorOversight and control of AMO technical training certificate management and training evidence to support the AMO maintenance authorisation and competence assessment systemsCollaborate with the AMO technical administration staff to ensure adequate training is developed to support the AMO Technical library educated within the workforceLiaise with third party training providers to ensure content and delivery standards are met in the support of AMO technical trainingAssist in the coordination of apprentice and new employee AMO technical trainingCoordinate technical aircraft type training for selected engineersDevelop upskill training for AMO staff to assist in the progression of staff through the organisational frameworkQualifications, Skills & Attributes:Sound knowledge of AMO policies, practices, and relevant legislation with the ability to ensure legislative and regulatory requirements are metProficiency in Microsoft Office Software (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Access)Analytical thinker with strong details orientationAbility to learn technical, detailed procedures as required for this functionWell organized and detail orientedWorks independently with little supervisionDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct staff.Demonstrated ability to support and work with a range of relevant stakeholdersDemonstrated time management skillsWell-developed problem-solving and commitment to continuous improvementAt CHC we believe a diverse workforce makes us stronger.
