.We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our Remediation Services Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural integrity, painting and blasting and concrete repair and protective coatings within the mining industry.
MINPROVISE is a specialist products, engineering and services company providing expert support to the mining, oil & gas and construction industries. This includes the supply of mineral processing equipment, onsite installations, maintenance & repairs, shutdowns, offsite repairs and fabrication. About the opportunity
The successful candidate will leverage their engineering expertise to provide accurate cost estimates and assist with the development of work method statements, programs, quality and HSE project documentation.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Develop and prepare detailed cost estimates for remediation projects, with a focus on, steel and concrete structural repair and maintenance.
* Analyze project requirements and technical specifications to ensure accurate pricing and resource allocation.
* Prepare project Method Statements, Programs and HSEQ documentation.
* Submit EOI’s, complete vendor pre-qualifications.
* Work with the Project and Operations Managers during the project setup, kick-off and delivery phases to ensure works are executed in accordance with the clients requirements and in the most cost effective efficient manner.
* Assist the delivery teams with managing site instructions, technical queries and contract variations.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Project and Planner and good familiarity with various estimation and project tracking / delivery programs.
