The onsite management couple will be required to undertake the day-to-day caretaking duties and front office duties. Working closely with the directors of the business, you will be given 24/7 support and guidance. You are required to live on site, undertake after hours caretaking duties if the situation arises. This is a dynamic role, with varying days off and hours.

We are currently seeking reliable, experienced and driven resort managers for one of our properties in Palm Cove.
The Resort Manager is responsible for driving the successful day-to-day operation of the resort. This includes managing interactions with unit owners, body corporate, suppliers, staff, and guests as well as responsibility for day-to-day operations, trust accounts, reporting, licensing and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Min 3 years resort management experience
* A passion for creating exceptional guest experiences
* Strong organisation and business/financial management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Professional presentation and personable disposition
* Strong problem solving and dispute resolution skills

A typical day in this role may include:
* Ensuring all resort grounds & facilities are well-presented, safe and optimised for an excellent guest experience
* Reviewing and reporting on monthly financial results
* Negotiating contracts with suppliers
* Managing guest or unit owner complaints in a professional & timely manner
* Identifying opportunities to maintain and grow the letting pool
* Liaising with the external reservations and marketing team to review performance and discuss strategies for increased yield & occupancy
* Receipting trust account payments
* Reviewing and updating policies & procedures to ensure compliance and professional management of the business
* Attending meetings with partners or body corporate
* Managing any HR matters including recruitment, performance management, employment contracts, terminations, and conflict resolution
* Identifying and implementing strategies to optimise business operations, reduce costs and improve guest experience
