Help provide a warm, welcoming environment for staff and residents alike as a Kitchen/Servery/Cleaning Attendant at our McNamara Lodge facility in Meadow Springs, Mandurah. As a Kitchen/Servery/Cleaning Attendant with RAAFA, you will work closely and collaboratively with other teams and clinical staff to ensure the needs and desires of the residents are met efficiently and effectively. Whether it's maintaining a clean and tidy state within the Residential Care Centre, providing clean linen and personal items or assisting with the provision of meals, drinks and snacks, you will contribute to the maintenance of a home-like environment for our residents.

This role as a Kitchen/Servery/Cleaning Attendant will see you:
* Performing all food handling duties in accordance with Food Safety Hygiene Regulations
* Communicating with residents and staff to ensure that meals and snacks provided meet quality and choice expectations
* Assisting residents with choices from the menu as published
* Performing cleaning duties as per the kitchen cleaning schedules and documenting when duties are completed
* Collecting, laundering, folding and returning linen for residents as per the cleaning schedule
* Ensuring the laundry is clean, tidy and equipment is used safely and correctly
* Contributing to a safe working environment by identifying or reporting all incidents, accidents and hazards
* Contributing to maintaining a home-like environment for residents.
About the Facilities:
Join our team as a Kitchen/Servery/Cleaning Attendant at our McNamara Lodge. The beautifully refurbished 96-bed Residential Care Centre offers both permanent and respite care along with comprehensive activity programs to ensure our residents keep their bodies and minds active day-to-day. Located in the heart of the RAAFA retirement village in the southern suburb of Meadow Springs, Mandurah, our homely bedrooms have direct access to landscaped gardens and pathways where you can take a stroll, relax, and enjoy the fresh air. With luscious plant-filled atriums located throughout the lodge, this is a truly stunning place to work!

About you:
* Previous experience working in a hospitality environment
* Ability to work autonomously and with a multidisciplinary team
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to relate to the elderly with empathy and understand their needs.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work tasks.
* Enjoy building positive relationships with residents, their families and staff.
