A Local Council based in Northern Sydney is looking for an experienced Administration Officer in an operations environment to assist with the general day-to-day running of the team's operations function. ABOUT THE ROLE. Immediate start, 3-month full-time contract. There will be opportunities for contract extensions and a view to go permanent. The role will require a high level of communication and time management skills. Prior experience within an operations function or Local Council will be highly regarded. DUTIES. General administration support to the Works Manager and broader team Managing verbal and written correspondence on behalf of the manager Raising purchase orders, managing spreadsheets, contracts and meetings Procurement duties and general executive support SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. Experience within an operational support role Experience using TechOne & Content Manager (TRIM) Experience working for Local Council is advantageous High level of demonstrated time management skills CULTURE. This role will see you working in a close-knit collaborative team. Your problem solving skills and proactive attitude towards work will play a key factor in the success of your work.
