Limestone Coast Local Health Network, Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service Salary: $128,327 - $133,758 p.a (pro rata) - RN/RM4 + salary sacrifice benefits Temporary Part Time (72 hours per fortnight, up to 26 June 2026) Join a dedicated team making a difference in cancer care across the South East.Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service is seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team.As the Oncology Nurse Practitioner, you will provide expert cancer nursing care to individuals and groups of patients, offering clinical leadership, advice, and support to nurses and other clinicians involved in cancer care.This is an exciting opportunity for an autonomous, advanced practitioner to work across a range of service settings, providing high-quality care for cancer patients while mentoring and leading a team of healthcare professionals.About the Role: Deliver direct, expert cancer nursing care for individuals and groups of patients, including assessment, treatment, and ongoing management of cancer-related conditions.Provide clinical advice to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals across a range of clinical settings.Work autonomously as a clinical decision-maker, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Take responsibility for your nursing practice, including delegating care, providing professional advice, and ensuring consistency between practice and policy.Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including consultant oncologists, medical professionals, pharmacy teams, and allied health staff.Support and mentor less experienced nursing staff and other healthcare professionals involved in cancer care.Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives in oncology care.You will work closely with the SERCHS Regional Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing SA Cancer Service to enhance cancer care services within the region and ensure coordinated, high-quality care delivery.What We're Looking For: Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a current practicing certificate and authorised as a Nurse Practitioner -
