The Return-to-Work Specialist is responsible for providing early intervention and injury management support, rehabilitation and return to work services within Busways. On a day-to-day basis you’ll co-ordinate injury management plans for occupationally ill or injured employees; liaising with employees, their supervisors, treating doctor(s) and providers to ensure the safe and timely rehabilitation of our employees. Working closely within your team, you will play a key role in influencing outcomes and supporting sound business decision making on workers compensation and return to work programmes. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited the following: Full life cycle workers compensation and injury case management Co-ordinate and attend meetings with internal / external stakeholders. Monitoring and reporting in relation to all aspects of works compensation and Injury management. Liaison with external organisations (insurers, service providers, medical professionals, specialists) Provide advice and support to Busways management, regarding new and emerging claims and direction on complex matters. Assisting the team in any area as required and performing any associated tasks. What We’re Looking for in the Successful Candidate: A minimum of 3 years' experience in workers compensation and the coordination of Return to Work (RTW) programmes is desired Relevant allied health tertiary qualifications is preferred but not essential. Demonstrable workers compensation and claims injury management knowledge/expereince Return to Work Coordinator qualifications authorised by Return-to-Work SA. This can be arranged post-onboarding Understand and apply Return to Work SA standards Possess knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act (SA). Be familiar with injury management and rehabilitation processes. A high level of computer competence, in particular Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to use Solv (Busways online injury management system) A demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise your workload and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines. A strong work ethic and a results-oriented attitude with a commitment to confidentiality Strong verbal communication skills that will allow you to build professional relationships across a diverse workforce.
