This role will be responsible for managing and enhancing the company’s financial health and operational efficiency, overseeing and leading the teams alongside our managers, in accounts, warehousing, logistics and purchasing.We are looking for someone to be at the heart of strategic decision-making, delivering insightful financial and operational analysis, modernising and reviewing our current financial policies and systems for improvements, and fostering a high-performing and engaged team.ResponsibilitiesAlign financial and operational strategies with overall business objectives, contributing financial insights, modelling and present actionable recommendations for strategic decision-making.Oversee and manage general accounting functions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll). Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Utilise analytical tools and techniques to analyse financial and operational data. Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and budgets, and leverage data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Lead the budgeting and forecasting process. Monitor budget performance, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions to support resource allocation. Implement and maintain internal control procedures and financial policies to protect assets.Oversee warehouse, logistics, and purchasing functions to optimise efficiency, identify opportunities for process enhancements, streamline processes, and ensure accurate stock management through regular cycle counts and stock take support.Lead, coach and develop team members reporting to you. Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and foster an environment of continuous improvement. Encourage collaboration across departments and synergy.Work closely with the HR function on financial aspects of employee management, including salary reviews, CPI increases, and market research for competitive compensation. Contribute to policy development, ensure compliance for new hires, and support HR-led projects by providing financial insights and aligning strategies with overall business objectives.Partner with Sales Managers to support sales compensation strategies by providing financial insights on bonus calculations, market trends, and commission structures. Ensure sales-related financial compensation aligns with company performance goals and market conditions, contributing to the overall success of the sales team.About youBachelor or Diploma in Accounting or Finance Management or other related fieldProfessional accounting certifications (Certified Practicing Accountant, CPA or CA)Proven experience as a Finance Manager or a leadership role overseeing finance, logistics, or operations functions.Proficiency in SAP, Salesforce platforms, SAP Concur (advantageous)Advanced Excel SkillsMeticulous attention to detailStrong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail and strategic thinking.In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards.Experience working in a multinational company with an overseas head office (advantageous).High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.More about ifmFirst a passion, then an idea transformed into success – when it comes to pioneering automation and digitalisation technology, the ifm group is the ideal partner.
