Role Overview:
We’re seeking a proactive and solution-oriented IT Support Specialist to ensure the seamless operation of Smokeball’s IT systems. In this role, you’ll deliver both hands-on and remote support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage user access, and assist with ongoing system maintenance. Reporting directly to Smokeball’s IT Manager, you’ll be an essential part of maintaining a secure, efficient, and reliable IT environment. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the smooth functionality of our technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide IT support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
* Troubleshoot and resolve problems with devices, applications, and network connectivity.
* Set up and maintain user computers, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
* Support users with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and desktop applications.
* Manage user accounts, security settings, and permissions.
* Maintain IT inventory and assist with basic network admin tasks.
* Deliver training and guidance on IT best practices.
* Ensure all IT service requests are resolved within defined service levels and according to their priority.
* Prioritise assigned workload, coordinate activities, and manage deadlines.
* Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.
What We’re Looking For:
* Certifications in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
* 2+ years in an IT support role.
* Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and IT hardware/software.
* Experience managing Microsoft 365.
* Experience in administration of devices and packaging applications using Microsoft Intune.
* Familiarity with remote support tools.
* Basic networking knowledge.
* Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.
* Passion for technology and eagerness to learn.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy and initiative.
