An excellent opportunity exists for an Assistant Accountant to join a boutique accounting business and be part of a dynamic financial services group. This successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and be instrumental in developing the Accounting Business in accordance with its medium to long-term strategic directives, with the opportunity for future progression within the business.
Tasks & ResponsibilitiesPreparation of Individual, Partnership, Trust, and Company Tax ReturnsPreparation of IAS and BAS returnsAdministration of Self-Managed Superannuation FundsGeneral administration duties and perform other tasks as assigned by the Managing DirectorLiaise with clients and address client queriesQualifications & ExperiencePreferably a degree in Accounting or Finance (or in the process of completing)Have a strong knowledge using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, BGL 360, CAS 360, and XeroBe highly organised and committed to meeting deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentBe a highly organised individual and committed to meeting deadlines and having a strong attention to detailAbility to build rapport with people at all levels across the business and contribute towards a positive business cultureBe flexible to changing priorities and tasksDesirable, but not essential2 years minimum experience preferred and have a good understanding of basic accounting concepts#J-18808-Ljbffr
