This role is ideal for a retail operations professional looking to take on a diverse and challenging portfolio. Based in Wollongong, you’ll have the opportunity to optimise and manage an additional 3 assets which will require monthly visits/ travel.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving operational excellence in a retail property environment.
A snapshot of the key role responsibilities:
1. Ensure all properties meet relevant safety standards, health codes, and regulatory requirements.
2. Supervise the activities of engaged contractors to ensure a suitable environment for customers, staff, and tenants, and confirm all services operate efficiently.
3. Keep track of facility assets, equipment, and inventory, ensuring proper maintenance and replacement when necessary.
4. Assist in the delivery of any capital projects and tenancy delivery.
5. Implement and manage environmentally friendly practices and initiatives across the portfolio.
6. Be proactive in communicating with tenants formally and informally to gain insights, key drivers and respond to any relevant issues promptly.
7. Develop and manage operational budgets and reports.

You’ll have proven experience managing a diverse retail property portfolio, improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential, and you are results-oriented and proactive, able to identify potential risks through compliance with OH&S.
You absolutely thrive working with a variety of clients/tenants and enjoy working in a team environment as well as autonomously.
A current Driver's Licence and your own vehicle are required.
