About the role The role of the Content Producer is to support the Digital Editor, Head of Digital and content teams across the Luxury vertical in the production of editorial, social and commercial content primarily for ELLE, and occasionally across the vertical (Marie Claire, Girlfriend, Beauty Crew, Beauty Heaven). In this role you will be expected to understand the editorial strategy and produce written, video and social content in line with the site's objectives and set targets. You will be producing high-quality content pieces (with a strong shopping/commerce content focus) daily to engage audiences and support the brand's commercial and editorial direction. Duties Sourcing, writing and producing content on ELLE that is timely, optimised and representative of each brand identity. Creating and optimising shopping content to hit affiliate revenue targets/shopping content quotas. An understanding of SEO best practices and how to drive traffic to the sites. Monitoring analytics, search trends and keeping up with industry insights to generate story ideas. Working to tight deadlines and maintaining excellent organisation skills to cope with a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment while working across multiple brands. Event attendance and industry relationships with PRs and brands. The ability to promote all social stories in a timely manner and produce high quality sells across all platforms. Represent the business and brands at media events as and when required, some of which may be held out of hours. Create shoppable content in line with content commerce KPIs. Skills and experience Strong writing skills and excellent spelling and grammar. Good knowledge of Australia's entertainment space including reality TV and royals. Confident in pitching original stories and angles. Solid interpersonal skills. Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics will be highly regarded. Experience with WordPress and Canva will be highly regarded. Strong understanding of social media platforms. Background in creating and curating content at scale. Ability to create content independently and under the direction of the Senior Digital Content Producer and Digital Managing Editor.
