Our client is seeking for a Salesforce Developer to join the CIO branch to deliver apps on Salesforce. These apps will help us make Canberra a better place to live, and TCCS a better place to work. Our focus will be on supporting the work of our officers in the field. Our Field Services Platform, based on Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, will deliver high quality apps to manage the complex information that supports our field services work.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this position are to:
4. Implement Salesforce based solutions using Apex programming language, Lightning Web Components, Integrations (RestAPI, SOAP, Platform Event) technologies, Process Builder, Flow Builder and others.
5. Conduct code reviews and engage in peer programming approaches to software development and configuration.
6. Develop and maintain the Field Service Platform eco-system including its backup and reporting SQL Server database, DevOps pipeline, automation scripts, etc.
7. Perform technical troubleshooting tasks and provide support to citizens, external stakeholders and Directorate back-end users of the Platform.
Skills and Experience
8. Demonstrated experience administering IT systems, leading deployment approaches and automation, and utilisation of existing CICD tools (such as Azure DevOps, SFDX, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins and similar).
9. Demonstrated experience in Salesforce development, working in Web Frontend / UI development using HTML, CSS3, JavaScript (APEX, AJAX, JSON, jQuery and various JavaScript frameworks React, and Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL)
10. The ability to perform application testing and validation, documentation and build automated testing procedures. In addition, develop and execute unit and integration tests of services.
11. Strong understanding of Salesforce development best practices, design patterns, and effective management of platform limitations.
12. Demonstrated experience with agile development methodologies in a government setting and the context of the following systems/practices:
13. establishing and configuring cloud services (EC2, Storage, CDN, DNS, Lambda Function etc)
14. Jira, Confluence, Source control systems and Continuous Delivery tools.
