As a Senior Facilities Management Specialist, your focus will be to support the Portfolio Leader Delivery & Mobilisation, with the rollout of these projects and to drive them to Operational Readiness. Across the TAM Portfolio, there are a number of large >$1M Lifecycle (CFE) Projects ongoing each year. This role will also provide guidance and support to the site-based Project Managers to ensure best value for projects is achieved and recorded through updated forecasts to whole of life CFE Plans. Further, this role will involve the day-to-day management of the TAM Service Team, who Service BMS and Security Systems across the portfolio. The successful individual will be a key member of the Portfolio Senior Leadership Team and contribute to assist the other Senior Leaders in our support of the broader TAM Portfolio. This role will also work with the Sales team on the development of new bids for major PPP Contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Mobilisation Managers, ensure the major projects achieve Operational Readiness.
Be the Support and guidance for site PM’s for Major Projects works across the TAM business.
Support the planning, coordination, resource assignment and execution of Project Works.
Lead the Completion of cost reviews for site team to ensure lowest cost and lowest risk.
Work with Operations teams to ensure on-time and on-cost delivery of major lifecycle and modifications work.
Provide Close engagement with Sales and other Honeywell business functions to ensure robust bid reviews, approval of estimates and labour/cost profiles.
Optimise delivery of projects and engineering to achieve continuous improvement and overall effectiveness to attain productivity targets.
Working within the Broader Team to ensure project works plans from all contracts are feasible and viable from a delivery, technical and cost perspective.
Contribute to new Bids as and when required, to maximise bid opportunities, whilst at the same time mitigating risks through the operating term.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
7 Years Engineering and Business Leadership experience.
Engineering Degree (Mechanical or Electrical).
Experience in and knowledge of the PPP Contracting Framework for Social Infrastructure Projects.
Proven background in Project Management within Controls, Automation, Electronic Security, Smart Buildings, Digital Engineering, Sustainability and Integration is essential.
Highly developed project management skills.
A proven track record of delivery and success in the areas of problem solving and process change/improvement.
Ability to work effectively in a customer-driven functional engineering capacity.
Experience with ISO 55000 (preferred).
