Job Title: Subcontract ManagerLocation: West PerthPermanent / Contract: Fixed Term ContractStart Date: ASAPExperience Level: Manager PositionDepartment: Project Management / Subcontract ManagementReports to: Project Director / Construction DirectorMain Responsibilities:Contract Management of Subcontracts: Ensure the drafting, negotiation, and execution of subcontracts align with the project's objectives, terms, and legal requirements.Manage the contractual lifecycle of subcontracts, including any amendments, claims, and dispute resolutions, ensuring that all parties comply with the agreed terms.Budgeting and Cost Control: Oversee the budgeting process related to subcontracts, ensuring accurate cost estimation, forecasting, and tracking throughout the project's lifecycle.Monitor costs to completion, ensuring that subcontractors' expenses align with the project's budget and identifying variances to take corrective actions promptly.Financial Reporting and Accounting Maintenance: Maintain accurate financial records and reports for all subcontracts, ensuring that accounting is up to date with the latest cost reports, invoices, and payments.Work closely with the finance department to ensure timely processing of subcontractor payments and reconciliation of accounts.Performance Monitoring: Track the progress of subcontractor activities against the project schedule and key deliverables, ensuring compliance with deadlines and performance standards.Implement performance metrics and review the efficiency and effectiveness of subcontractors' work, making adjustments as needed to stay within project timelines and costs.Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to subcontractor performance, cost overruns, or compliance issues, and develop mitigation strategies to address these risks proactively.Ensure that subcontractor work adheres to all legal, regulatory, and safety standards, minimizing potential liabilities for the company.Cost to Completion Management: Regularly assess and forecast the total cost to complete the subcontract work, adjusting the budget and resource allocation as necessary to ensure project profitability.Provide detailed cost-to-completion reports to senior management, highlighting any potential overruns and recommending solutions.Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact between the subcontractors and the project team, facilitating clear communication and efficient coordination of activities.Work with internal departments, including finance, legal, and procurement, to ensure that subcontractor agreements and financial processes align with overall project goals.Required Skills:Strong experience in subcontract management, especially in the construction.Deep understanding of contract law, budgeting, and cost control.Proven ability to manage multiple subcontracts simultaneously and ensure timely, cost-effective project execution.Strong financial acumen, including experience in cost estimation, forecasting, and financial.Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Finance, or a related field.5+ years of experience in subcontract management or contract administration, ideally in the construction industry.Proficiency with project management software and financial tools.If interested please apply or send your CV to BH ID 284727 #J-18808-Ljbffr
