Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)Full timePosition Overview:Our client is currently seeking a HR Business Partner to join a collaborative team. This pivotal role will provide proactive advice and support to management and employees, focusing on employee relations, health and safety, and strategic people initiatives. The successful candidate will manage a client portfolio and contribute to the enhancement of our people and culture strategies.Key Responsibilities:Provide guidance and support to managers on a range of People and Culture matters, ensuring an integrated approach to service delivery.Build and maintain effective relationships with OPP managers and employees to promote a consultative partnership in implementing P&C strategies.Offer strategic advice on employee relations, dispute resolution, and workplace safety, collaborating closely with the Managing Advisor, People & Culture.Lead initiatives that promote Occupational Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (OHS&W), including the implementation of wellbeing programs.Assist in the development of new policies and procedures and manage relevant P&C projects.Key Selection Criteria:Strong understanding of the Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement and relevant employment legislation.Proven experience in providing strategic advice on P&C and employee relations issues.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to address complex issues effectively.Strong analytical and conceptual skills to develop business-focused solutions.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment, focusing on continuous improvement.Relevant Experience:Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field, or substantial experience in a similar role.Knowledge of Victorian Government processes and strong employee relations experience is advantageous.This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact in the justice sector.
