Description We currently have an opportunity for a Fire Services Technical Manager to join our Base and Estate Management team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our client's estate remains compliant and well-maintained. Reporting to the National Technical Services Manager, you will contribute to delivering high-quality outcomes that underpin our essential services. What You’ll Do The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below: Provide technical support to our operational teams for the successful delivery of fire maintenance services across all geographical service locations. Plan and schedule own work to meet required timelines and outputs. Follow policies and procedures as relevant to scope of role and general employment. Personal accountability over quality of personal and team output. Ensure risks are accurately identified, contained and countermeasures are put in place. Assist in measuring costs, efficiencies, and delivery of services and support service improvement initiatives. What You'll bring Ability to obtain a Defence security clearance (must be an Australian Citizen) Certificate III in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing Technical expertise and trade qualifications in fire systems maintenance. A high level of computer literacy including experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, Microsoft Office applications and ability to use company specific databases and online systems. Experience in Facility Management (Hard FM) Maintenance Engineering/Planning experience, including previous experience in Project management. Business management experience including finance, admin, and Quality Assurance.
