Job Title: Field Maintenance Superintendent at Blackwater Mine
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to drive reliability, efficiency, and innovation in our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership: Supervise and manage the field maintenance team to achieve operational excellence.
* Delivery: Ensure the delivery of the weekly asset management plan to achieve maintenance and production targets.
* Planning & Coordination: Oversee the maintenance of heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
* Safety First: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture aligned with Whitehaven Coal's values.
* Problem Solving: Lead technical troubleshooting, identify solutions, and implement best practices.
* Communication: Work closely with operations and engineering teams to optimize productivity.
* Building capability: Develop supervisors and employees within the team.

* Proven experience in a field maintenance leadership role, preferably in the mining industry sector, to lead high-performance outcomes.
* Strong knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and asset management.

* Budget management skills.
* Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications are highly regarded.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
