Please note: This is a 12 month daily rate contract role paying between $600-$700 + Super per day, dependent on experience. PAYG and ABN options are available.
What you’ll be doing:
Working in a development team of three, you will be tasked with predominantly full stack development using .NET and React. You will work 2 – 3 days per week in their large open-plan office, working within a cross-functional team to ensure the best software standards are adopted and thrive.
Using agile delivery methods, you will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and implement fit-for-purpose solutions. In addition to this, you will support, maintain and develop cloud-based IT solutions that adhere to industry best practices. Your new role will involve participating in technical design sessions, developing technical solutions and coordinating the evaluation, scope, and completion of new feature requests.
Please note this role is based in Newcastle, and you are required to be on-site every Tuesday and Thursday; however, start/finish times are flexible where needed.
Experience required:
You are a mid to senior level engineer with at least three years of working experience in a commercial environment using C# and .NET. You will have previous front end development experience with Javascript (ideally React, but Angular and Vue are ok too).
You are proficient with cloud technologies, ideally AWS, but Azure and GCP experience is fine also. You will desirably have tertiary or industry qualifications and will ideally have experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server or experience writing SQL. If not, please still apply as these are very much a nice to have in this role.
You will be available to travel to the Newcastle office 2-3 days per week in order to work closely with the large technology team of over 30 people.
