Join us as a Library and Galleries Customer Service Officer, a role that blends community and cultural engagement, and customer service!LET'S EXPLORE THE JOBAs a Library and Galleries Customer Service Officer (known internally as Cultural Experiences Officer), you will be integral to delivering exceptional community-focused services across our libraries and cultural facilities.Primarily a front-of-house role, you will work across our library and/or gallery and museum services, warmly welcome visitors, manage inquiries, maintain floorspace and collections, and support contemporary and progressive culturally based programming and events. As a versatile team member, you will ensure seamless service delivery, fostering enriching experiences for the community.This role also involves leveraging technology, such as library management software and point of sale systems, to support individual client needs. Guiding clients in using our collections, services, and facilities, your work will bridge library services and cultural engagement, creating meaningful connections within the community.Conditions of Employment include:Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and school holiday periods is essential, as is the ability to adapt to varied tasks and locations. The role involves occasional travel and visits to external sites/depots, and the requirement to undertake customer-facing duties as required, including in a solo capacity. This role is applied to a rotating roster between operating Monday through to Sunday; 8.00am to 9.00pm.
