The Senior Manager, Investigations and Enforcement will be responsible for implementing the Authority’s strategic priority around developing and operationalising risk based, intelligence led investigations leading to enforcement action, where appropriate. Central to this role will be the design and implementation of policies and procedures and the development of technical capability of teams supporting the Authority’s regulatory program. About us The Portable Long Service Authority (the Authority) is a self-funded statutory body established to administer the Long Service Benefits Portability Act 2018. The Act, together with the Long Service Benefits Portability Regulations 2020 provide a Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme. The Authority plays an important role in allowing workers in the community services, contract cleaning and security industries to build up long service benefits based on time in their industry rather than with a single employer. About you Our successful Senior Manager, Investigations and Enforcement will have, demonstrated experience developing and leading a geographically diverse investigations and enforcement team proven ability to translate strategic direction into day-to-day operational activities to facilitate delivery of organisational outcomes well established experience leading successful enforcement outcomes in a regulatory and/or criminal contextthrough harnessing intelligence, case management, interpreting statutory obligations, gathering evidence, and providing guidance on technical matters and issues highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, with an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, influence in complex situations, and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including relevant specialists (legal, investigators) to achieve key regulatory outcomes demonstrated ability to provide authoritative advice on issues of compliance, risk management and intelligence, including the ability to analyse and interpret data and prepare substantial reports and complex briefs for Senior Leadership, Governing Board and relevant government stakeholders knowledge of the Long Service Benefits Portability Act 2018 and related regulations (or a demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire this knowledge).
